SIX INDEPENDENT MUSICIANS AND PRODUCERS COLLABORATE WITH BLACK BEACON SOUND TO RAISE AWARENESS AND VITAL SUPPORT FOR CHARITY.

Sheffield-based record label and shop, Black Beacon Sound, welcomes six independent musicians and producers affiliated with its past catalogue of releases, live events, radio, and local networks, in order to raise awareness and support of Sheffield-based homelessness charity, Archer Project.

Inspired by the sampler format, this various artist compilation showcases artists of varying style who highlight the symbiotics and diverse appeal within dance and electronic music. The sampler also wishes to be widely shared, provided reasonable access, to help maximise financial support for the charity in these trying times.

The chosen beneficiary of this release is the Sheffield Cathedral ‘Archer Project’: a place where homeless and vulnerable people can change their lives for the better. Their mission is to develop the independence, behaviours and wellbeing of homeless and vulnerable people by way of support, skillset training, guidance on daily life, and overall foundations for a more sustainable and fulfilling way of life.

The organisation is 30 years strong, supporting thousands of homeless people in Sheffield [UK] with a variety of 1-on-1 support systems, provision of in-house nurse, accommodation resources, dental and medical clinics, hot food, showers, social enterprising, a programme of learning activities, and employment programmes, to help vulnerable people manage a recognised, healthy and confident work-life balance.
